There were two SCoJeC Chanukah parties this year – in Dundee and Lochgilphead – which gave people from far and wide an excuse to get together for a chat, and to enjoy latkes, doughnuts, and other culinary delights. Both groups also discussed the review “Jewish Women: Looking Backwards Looking Forward” (click here to read the report of the meetings), and Dundee welcomed Rev Jane Barron, who talked about her experiences when she was the Church of Scotland minister in Jerusalem.
