Welcome to the web page of

Dundee Hebrew Congregation

We are a very small, inclusive Jewish community, holding services and other events occasionally. There has been a Jewish community in Dundee since the mid-19th century. Currently the Congregation has a synagogue at:

In an emergency, the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities can be contacted on: 0141 638 6411

Friday night and Shabbat morning services and meals are held once a month, we have a range of activities on festivals, and we meet wiith Rabbi Rose, from Edinburgh, to discuss Jewish issues. Click here for the current programme.

Newcomers are always welcome. There is no ticket system, and no charge for attending, but we have to make sure the shul is open so it would be helpful if any visitors could let us know in advance that they are coming to services.

We have an active mailing list which we would encourage anyone living in our area to join. You can ask to join the group by selecting this link. (This link opens a new window.)

If you have any questions, please do drop Paul a line.
